March 21, 1937 to June 11, 1990 Nederland - Dorothy Barbara Bodin, 53, of Nederland died Monday at her home. She was a native of Chicopee, Massachusetts, and lived in the Nederland and Port Arthur area 29 years. A wake will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Davis-Schroeter Funeral Home Chapel in Nederland. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Groves. Burial will be at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Survivors include three sons, Bobby Bodin of Port Neches, Tommy Bodin of Groves and Donnie Bodin of Oklahoma; a daughter, Emily Rollison of Nederland; three brothers, Walter, Eddie and Teddy Golba, all of Massachusetts; a sister, Evelyn LaPlante of Mass.; eight grandchildren: Damien, Billy, Tara, Blake, Brandy, Jennifer, Courtney and Brandon.   Dorothy, known as "Dot" to most, left this earth before seeing her last grandon (Timothy Bodin). As of 2-18-00, she would have also seen her first great-grandson come into this world (Christien Bodin). She is deeply missed.
