My "Daddy" was like a big teddy
bear! He was quiet and sometimes gruff, but underneath he had a heart as big as Texas! He
adored his family and was loyal and true! He was dedicated to his church, The church of
the Madonna in Detroit. He carried himself with a self-respect and dignity that most
people wish for!

My father did not have a formal education, but he
was the smartest man I have ever known. He set a standard of class and dignity that I one
day hope to achieve!
