Branden Ignacio DeLeon,16,of Port Arthur,Texas died Friday, July 2,1999 at University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. A native of Galveston, he lived in Port Arthur all of his life. Services were conducted Wednesday, July 7 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. Walter Montondon officiating with burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home. Survivors include his mother, Mary Frances DeLeon Gallion of Port Arthur; step-father Tony Gallion of Port Arthur; sister, Clophina Gallion of Port Arthur; Grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ignacio DeLeon of Beauxart Gardens; proceeded in death by his Aunt Cheryl DeLeon; Donna Gonzalez, Lina Ihle, and Nicole DeLeon. |
Branden DeLeon was killed by a drunk driver. He was only 16 years old and had his whole life ahead of him to look forward to. He wanted to be an underwater welder ,but never got to make the choice. He was a beautiful young man and meant the world to my family and I. We love you and miss you very much Branden. No one will ever fill the hole we have in our hearts for you! But one day we will be reunited with you and Aunt Cheryl. You are our Guardian Angel now and forever!! Love you & Miss you, Nanny |
