I know you already know that there are not words that I could say that would ever measure up to comfort you. I am terribly sorry for the loss of your brother. What a wonderful blessing, the birth of little Greggory! I am knew to compassionate friends. I lost my son Luke Jordan on January 4, 2005. He was 5. He was star student that week in his kindergarden class. He was so proud of this! We all were! I had taken him to my sister's house so that my 16yr old neice could help him with his star stident poster that was due the next day. I left to go to the store to get the snacks for his star student celabration going to be held the next day. I was gone about 30 minutes. Anyway all my sister had was wood glue. He was afraid this would cause him to stick to his poster so my neice went to the store to get the glue. He waited outsde in the driveway at my sister's house for her return. She said when she returned he said "Ashwee ( he had a small speech problem that was way to presious to fix) did you get my glue? Shee said he had the biggest smile on his face. Where he stood literally steps away from her was a 500 pound display in there driveway. My sister had an estate sale a few days prior. There were these concrete colums that had steel rebar in them, they are used for banister railing. She had 10 of them on display in a wood banister type setting. There were children playing on either side of this. Some how it started to fall. My beautiful little boy was standing inbeween the railing. It fell directly on his chest. They attempted several things but the artery that pulls the blood from the heart back into body was crushed. They kept his heart beating untill I arrived and I was able to be there for the last attempts to say his tiny life. My mom was there with me. There have been several times since that day for a moment that me and my Mom just stop for a moment and silently acknowledge the inbarable pain we suffer with from this loss. I just wanted you to know and hope you find some comfort in knowing that as you continue to sow your brother Greggory's seed that someone somewhere is still reaping a blessing from his life, (Today Luke Jordan's Mother). Please accept our condolences concerning the loss of your brother Greggory I can tell from reading his memorial he was truly loved, even though he lived 28 delightful years. It pains my heart when i think of Greggory being so young and vibrant, so full of life and then you realize he's no more. I lost my baby sister, Decades have past since her death, and it still affects me to some degree. I know your hearts are pained missing Greggory's every waking presence. I'm one of Jehovah's Witnesses and I would like to take this opportunity to assure you and your family that God {Jehovah} The God of all comfort which has helped me through my losses will see to it that you and your family are comforted in every way. Let me assure you I’m not writing to solicit anything from you, I just love sharing the LORDS comforting thoughts with persons like yourself. God promises that you have an opportunity to see Greggory again right here on earth under different conditions. I know this might sound strange but it's true. Tammy i'm so very sorry for the loss of your brother. No words can express the pain that i know you feel Thank you for being there to help my daughter Ellen. One month ago today we buried my son and her little brother Donnie. I know that Ellen hurts more than she wants me to know and only someone that has lost there little brother can understand. Donnie was 28 but he will always be her little brother. We miss him so much just like you miss your brother but i know that one day we will all be togeather again.
